Empty the Tanks is a campaign whose goal is to educate the public about the impact captivity has on whales and dolphins. The annual protests continue to grow in scope and magnitude every year.
“We know the level of awareness these animals have,” said Rachel Carbary, founder of Empty The Tanks Worldwide. “These are incredibly social, intelligent beings who are being exploited and used for economic gain – and nothing more.”
Empty the Tanks Worldwide was founded by Rachel Carbary after witnessing the horrific dolphin slaughters that occur annually in Taiji, Japan. Rachel is a local activist whose goal is to educate people about animal rights issues.
