Unlike SeaWorld, This Orca Rescue is Another Example of Doing it Right

Let’s face it, had this orca been found anywhere near SeaWorld’s reach, it would have been ‘rescued’ into captivity, where it would remain until it was shown to be ‘unreleasable’. These whales are worth millions in the amusement park industry, and as was recently shown in the case of Morgan (a young whale rescued in the Netherlands, which was later sent to live with SeaWorld whales in Spain, despite international protest) there is little that can be done about it.
This lucky little orca, though, was found by a courageous diver who simply freed it from its entanglement in the crab pot, allowing it to rejoin its family and giving it the opportunity to lead a normal life in the wild with its family.

Way to go.
